Dear Friends,
Spring is blooming all around us, and with it comes a wonderful opportunity for growth in faith. During the month of May, our children in Sunday School will be exploring the Shine! curriculum series called Your Kingdom Come. Using stories from Acts, Colossians, and Revelation, our children will discover what it means to pray the words Jesus taught us: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
This is more than a prayer—it is an invitation to live as God’s people right here and right now.
Families, grandparents, and caregivers, you play an important role in helping faith take root. One of the best ways to nurture a child’s spiritual growth is simply to ask them about what they are learning. Let them teach you. Listen to their questions. Share your own stories of faith. These simple conversations can become holy moments around the dinner table, in the car, or before bedtime.
We encourage every family to join the journey this month by talking together each week.

Music

Music in Worship
We blend traditional hymns and contemporary music into our worship services, reading songs from hymnals or from the overhead screen. Music is a central part of our worship experience.

Choir Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 7:30-8:30pm, under the direction of David MacMillan. The Choir prepares an anthem for every Sunday Worship and participates in a Christmas Cantata performed in conjunction with the Olivet Presbyterian Church Choir and a small hand-selected orchestra.

Contemporary Chorus Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. under the direction of Scott Duffey. The Chorus learns and teaches new songs for the whole congregation to sing along. Accompaniment is with guitars and piano. All ages are welcome, children through adults.
